The name �Vaal de Grace� comes from the town Paris, France, due to the similarity between the Vaal River and the River Seine, which flows through Paris.

The golf course was designed by Chris Dreyer and Nick Price and consists of 18 holes. It is a challenging and most enjoyable course and offers players beautiful views of the river and mountains.
