Oppenheimer Park Golf Club, or "Oppies" as it is colloquially known, is situated just outside the town of Welkom in the Free State Province. It is just over a 2 hour drive along excellent roads from Johannesburg, just over an hour from Bloemfontein and about 3 hours from Kimberley.

It is a challenging 18 hole, par 72 parkland golf course, designed by well known South African Golf Course designer, Robert Grimsdell and was opened in 1951. The course is in excellent condition throughout the year.

It has recently hosted a number of major events including the Phakisa SA Masters (1999), the Powerade Classic (2001) on the Sunshine Tour and the South African Amateur Championships (2002).
