Accommodation

Accommodation at Hans Merensky Hotel comprises air-conditioned and secluded en suite rooms in the form of thatched chalets situated along the golf course. Awake to the sounds of birds and watch as a herd of impala graze lazily at your doorstep.

Each chalet is a short walk from the clubhouse. In addition, a host of air-conditioned en suite Hotel rooms overlooking the swimming pool and Pool Bar offer accommodation closer to the main Hotel Block. All the rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, telephones with direct dialing modes, televisions with 9 satellite channels, fans, bar fridge and electronic safes.

The Hans Merensky Estate offers state-of-the-art conference venues which can hold up to 220 delegates and can be tailor-made to suit individual requirements.

Greet the African dawn on the manicured fairways of our challenging 18 Hole, Par 72 Championship golf course, where crocodile and hippo add spice to the normal “hazards” of a good game of golf. Wild game including elephant, lion, giraffe and a wide variety of antelope and bird life are often seen on the golf course and in the surrounds.

The legendary Bob Grimsdell designed this unique course, which extends over a vast area of indigenous bush, interspersed with tranquil pools and velvet greens.
