Golf Holiday Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive at Cape Town International. Clear passport control and collect your luggage before meeting your driver in the arrivals hall. You’ll be transferred in comfort to Best Western Cape Suites Hotel.
Check in and spend the remainder of the day relaxing beside the pool.
Day 2
Enjoy breakfast and meet your guide at reception for your transfer to the Royal Cape Golf Course. Play a round at South Africa’s oldest golf course and proud host of 10 SA Opens.
Day 3
After breakfast you’ll be going on a full day tour of Cape Town and the city’s famous tourist attractions. Visit Bo-Kaap, the penguins at Boulders Beach and the Castle of Good Hope.
Day 4
Have a delicious breakfast before your transfer to Clovelly Golf Course. Clovelly was designed by Dr Charles Molteno Murray, one of the best known golf architects of his day. Advocate Bobby Lewin was responsible for much of the magnificent landscaping.Together they produced one of Cape Town’s most picturesque and challenging courses.
Visit Table Mountain for an afternoon sightseeing excursion after golf.
Day 5
Check out after breakfast and meet your guide at reception for your transfer to De Zalze Lodge.
After checking in you’ll visit the historic town of Stellenbosch with your guide.
Day 6
After breakfast you’ll be teeing of at De Zalze Golf Course. The course was designed by Peter Matkovich who has made the most of this stunning setting and created a course that places a premium on accuracy. Visit the Spier Winery at De Zalze before returning to the hotel. Spend the evening at leisure after dinner.
Day 7
Meet your guide at reception after breakfast. Today you’ll embark on a full day wine tasting tour. The Cape Winelands are surrounded by majestic mountain ranges and fertile green valleys. The region has a Mediterranean climate and the winter rainfall of the south-western Cape helps producing some of the best wines in the world.
Towns and villages in the Cape Winelands have many historic homesteads, museums and monuments to discover. Visit famous wine estates such as Boschendal and La Motte before returning to the hotel.
Day 8
Enjoy breakfast and a relax at the hotel before checking out. You’ll be transferred to Cape Town International, where you’ll board your domestic flight to O.R. Tambo International, Johannesburg.
You’ll be welcomed at the airport by a Golf 2 Africa Guide, who will assist with your luggage and transfer you in comfort to The Soho Hotel, Sun City – Africa’s Kingdom of Pleasure!

Day 9
Play a round of golf at Lost City GC after breakfast.
Lost City GC was designed by South Africa’s grand master of golf, Gary Player and is considered to be amongst some of the best courses in the world. The rich green fairways give a dramatic contrast to the bushveld backdrop and the barren waste bunkers – a special feature of this intriguing course. The desert style design of the golf course has an exotic allure of its own.
Day 10
Spend the morning at leisure after breakfast. Embark on a thrilling afternoon and sunset game drive in an open 4×4 vehicle with your experienced game ranger who will bring you sightings of lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and cheetah.
The Pilanesberg is also home to giraffe, zebra and numerous antelope species such as bontebok, red hartebeest, kudu, eland, impala, springbok and many more. Game drives can take up to 3 hours depending on how much time is spent at each sighting.
Day 11
Play a round of golf at Gary Player Country Club after breakfast.
The Gary Player Golf Course, designed by the legendary Gary Player himself, lies amidst breath taking nature and is regarded as one of the best in the world. Stretching over more than 7000 meters, it is definitely one of the world’s longest golf courses. All 18 holes are challenging, boasting plenty of bunkers and water hazards in the shape of rivers and dams. Day 12
Enjoy breakfast and a relaxing morning at the hotel before checking out. Meet your driver at reception for your transfer to the airport, where you’ll board your flight back home.
